The former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) politician and popular TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain passes away in Karachi. He was found unconscious at his house in Khudad Colony and shifted to a hospital in very critical condition. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a former member of the National Assembly (MNA) and well-liked television host, passed away in Karachi on Thursday. He was 49.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain reportedly felt uneasiness on Wednesday night however declined to go to the hospital. His worker, Javed, said a shout was heard from Aamir Liaquat's room on the morning of Thursday. Hussain's home staff broke down his room's door when they did not receive any response from him, the source reported.
The source reported that National Assembly speaker Pervaiz Ashraf has corroborated the reports and delayed the session of the home to mark the death of the lawmaker. The proceedings of the residence have been adjourned till 5 pm on Friday, it also reported.
The police said the dead body will be shifted to Civil Hospital or Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem after which it would be handed over to the family.
Before joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Aamir Liaquat Hussian was a member of the MQM-P. He had served as state minister during the government of military dictator General Pervez Musharraf.

TV channel, Aalim Online. In January 2014, he became the vice president of Geo
television and hosted the game show Inaam Ghar.

The well-known television host was also a significant member of PTI. But, in April of this year, Aamir Hussain announced his choice of leaving the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf following the closure of the National Assembly (NA).
Taking to the famous microblogging website Twitter, Aamir Liaquat said, “After the drama is over, I desire to say that what the PM did proves that the opposition was doing the accurate thing, so I am proclaiming to leave the PTI.”
