The trailer of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva was released on YouTube today. The trailer begins with action and progresses onto superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover. Amitabh Bachchan says, “Water! Wind! Fire! Since early times, there exist amongst us energies that have been bound into astras. This is a tale about the aristocrat of all the astras- the Brahmastra!”

It then improves to illustrate Shiva’s (Ranbir Kapoor) entry into the film scene and his bond with Isha (Alia Bhatt). The film trailer is loaded with action scenes towards the end.

Trade analyst and film critic Sumit Kadel acknowledged the trailer of the movie for its grand visuals and inscribed, “Such grand visuals are never seen earlier than in Indian cinema. The Lord Hanuman shot is extremely OUTSTANDING.. We don’t have even a twenty percent budget [of] what Hollywood has still Ayan Mukherji has attained something strange on the VFX front… Support it.” Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s starrer Brahmastra trailer is out.

Film critic Rohit Jaiswal called the trailer of the upcoming Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's movie “epic” and said, “Meets the standard of Hollywood in terms of VFX and graphics and visuals…. Ranbir Kapoor brilliant, Alia Bhatt superb… Ayan Mukherji’s new world is absolutely something to look out for…. Silver screen artiste will take a terrific opening.”

Soon after the trailer of the film was released on the Internet, fans gave out their responses on the same. Whereas some hailed it for the superiority of visuals and action series, others discredited it for not enlightening Shah Rukh Khan’s look and as one more wannabe venture by Bollywood.
